Ritz and Carrie- Lacey's sweet soul will always be remembered and cherished, as she explores the meadows in peace at Rainbow Bridge...Never to be forgotten

Ritz and Carrie, I am so very sorry for your loss of Lacey. You are right, we love all of our fur babies and mourn each one when they pass, but there are certain babies that touch us in unexplainable ways. I think we have a "soul connection" with some creatures (weather human or animal) and it is obvious you had such a connection with your sweet, gentle Lacey. I lost my sweet, special dog, Chili, this last April and had that special connection with her. Such a bond is a true blessing from God, but the loss is so profound. Again, I am very sorry for your loss. Sincerely, Lauren. If you would care to visit my sweet girl, Chili, please go to: http://RainbowsBridge.com/residents/CHILI001/Resident.htm

I am so sorry for the loss of Lacy. It took a few years before my Lady allowed us to spoil her. Lacy was really beautiful and her face was so very sweet. I know her and Lady have met and are playing. God Bless you for giving her a wonderful life. If you want to visit my Lady google Lady's Rainbow residency posted on 04/11/2013/

They will not go quietly, the pets who've shared our lives. In subtle ways they let us know their spirit still survives. Old habits still can make us think we hear them at the door Or step back when we drop a tasty morsel on the floor. Our feet still go around the place the food dish use to be, And, sometimes, coming home at night, we miss them terribly. And although time may bring new friends and a new food dish to fill, That one place in our hearts belongs to them.... and always will. - Author unknown. I am so sorry for your loss but I do hope that this poem offers you some comfort. Blessings………………….. Joyce

I am so sorry to hear about your loss of Lacey. Please find comfort in knowing that Lacey is now at Rainbows Bridge and making lots of friends. Saying goodbye is never easy. I also lost my precious cat Spooky July 30th 2001 after 16 wonderful years with her. Just recently on January 11, 2013, I lost my faithful friend Hannah who was a beautiful blue tick hound dog. Spooky never met Hannah but I am sure Spooky greeted Hannah at the bridge. I am sure that Lacey, Spooky, and Hannah have become good friends. You can visit with Spooky at: http://www.rainbowsbridge.com/residents/Spook002/resident.HTM Take Care, Susan

I had Louie for 13 yrs. I think its always hard. At least you have other babies! I don't think i'll ever have another one. I couldn't go thru this again.

Ritz and Carrie.....so sorry for your loss. Saying goodbye is never easy.....those little furry companions definitely steal our hearts and souls. They are so precious and are truly one of God's greatest gifts. Take comfort in that their love for us goes on as our love for them does for eternity. I am sure that the memories of this precious member will be with you always. We also lost our adorable little pug, Nikki Mae, who was the light of our lives for more than 14 wonderful years. We are sure that beautiful Lacey and Nikki Mae have become good friends and are now having so much fun playing and running again. For Lacey, you are a beautiful girl, such a good dog. You are healthy here at the Rainbows Bridge, so run and play big girl. Please keep an eye on your dad and mom, they love and miss you so much! Dear Ritz & Carrie, I am deeply sorry for your loss, my thoughts and prayers are with you. You wrote such a loved filled tribute to Lacey, it's easy to see the bond you had with her and the love and joy she brought to your lives. This isn't good-bye, rather I'll see you later. Lacey was a gift from God who has been called home, when your time comes to make that journey she'll be there waiting for you. When you are sad or lonely or just missing Lacey look into your hearts and the memories of the life you shared with her will forever be shining so brightly!! Hugs. Hello Ritz & Carrie, I am so sorry for the lost of your beautiful Lacey. King Solomon wrote in Ecclesiastes: "To everything there is a season and a time to every purpose under heaven…a time to weep and a time to laugh; a time to mourn and a time to dance…" The Zohar, the classic work of Kabbalah, describes the inner psyche of man as "crying being on one side of the heart and laughing on the other side of the heart." Yet, there is an even deeper understanding, we will learn to be joyous and broken hearted at the same time. Our fur babies where so beautiful and a gift of true joy & love, how can we not be happy when we reflect on their memory and begin to celebrate their life. One day we will be together again with our beautiful companions; I lost my Zander & Zianna & have attached their link if you care to visit. With Love & Sympathy Diane. http://rainbowsbridge.com/residents/ZANDE003/Resident.htm http://rainbowsbridge.com/residents/ZIANN001/Resident.htm

Ritz,Carrie, I am so sorry for the loss of your beautiful Lacey. Lacey was sent to you by our Lord the Almighty as a sign of his love for you. These furry packages of love deliver to us such special fellowship, and companionship. There is nothing stronger than the bond that a man or a woman has for their fur-baby. They give us the strength to face the daily human dealings. I lost my Ginger of 17 years, this past fall 2012. My Bentley I lost Father’s Day of 2011. Grieving is a natural response of having to send them on their final journey to eternal happiness. Take care in knowing that your precious Lacey is relaxing at one of the meadows that surround the Rainbows Bridge, is well and playing with other fur-babies like my Ginger and Bentley. Lacey sends love wishes your way and waits for you to be there with them. You may visit my Ginger and Bentley at http://RainbowsBridge.com/residents/GINGE256/Resident.htm http://RainbowsBridge.com/residents/BENTL027/Resident.htm

Ritz and Carrie..I read, thru tears and smiles, your tribute to your best friend. I am so very sorry for your loss. She reminds me of the large black dog I lost almost two years ago.. and even though she told me she didn't want to be my heart dog...her loss was the hardest. Like your Lacey, some dogs leave a bigger hole in our hearts than the others. I hope that soon your tears will be replaced by smiles when you think of your girl. Godspeed sweet Lacey.. by now you know where all the toys are at the bridge. You are such a GOOD girl!! wag your tail!

Dear Ritz & Carrie I'm sorry for the loss of your Lacey. What a beautiful tribute for a perfect friend. I lost my Finnbar in December. I know how hard it is to say goodbye. And I know how much it hurts. You'll be together again when its time just as it should be. Until then Lacey is waiting for you at the bridge happy and healthy. It looks like she's in good company. She's having a ball with her new friends and some old ones all the while still keeping an eye on you. I hope Lacey has found Finn by now. He's a cat but he's scrappy. He can catch too so maybe they can work out a game. If you would care to visit my Finnbar http://RainbowsBridge.com/residents/FINNB001/Resident.htm

Dear Lacey, you are so beautiful! Please go to the Bridge and send your precious love down the Rainbow straight into the hearts of your mom and dad who miss you so much, and they will send their love right back to you on angels' wings. Ritz and Carrie, your world has lost a very special furperson, family member and friend, and heaven has welcomed home a very special soul. Lacey, along with all your other beloved ones at the Bridge, is now your very own angel, watching over and for you, just as Katy and BG are watching over us, until you meet again and cross the Bridge together. May her sweet love continually hug your hearts until then, and may you find comfort in knowing that the silver thread of love that binds you heart to heart with Lacey, Big Sweet, and the others will never be broken. Blessings and peace, Clare and Martha...Please visit our Katy at http://www.rainbowsbridge.com/residents/KATY004/resident.HTM

For sweet Lacey, I know that during your lifetime you gave Ritz & Carrie much joy. Now I am wishing for you lots and lots of happiness at Rainbows Bridge. From looking at your photos and reading what your family wrote for and about you it is obvious that you came from a very warm and loving home. Lacey I know you have many playmates at the Bridge but I hope you will meet up with my little boy Pedro. He is adorable just like you and I am sure you two will be very good friends. For Ritz & Carrie, I just visited Lacey's Rainbows Bridge residency and wanted to express my deepest sympathy for your loss. Having lost my Pedro a little over a year ago I can understand how you must be feeling and how much you must miss Lacey. Wishing you both all the very best always, Rosalind (Pedro's Mom)
