Dear Melissa, Lexy was sure a pretty girl and it's obvious that you gave her a great home. I completely understand what it is like to say goodbye and how it's especially heartbreaking when they're still so young; my Maggi was also 9 when he died. Melissa... a beautiful tribute to a great friend. Lexy is a beautiful girl. It is always hard to lose a furry young or old and I have lost both. But no matter what or for whatever reason they are always taken from us too soon leaving their forever pawprints within us. Be sure to know she is happy, healthy and playing with Oreo, Ralph and Eva while waiting for us to join them at the Bridge. I can send you my babies sites if you wish to visit..take care.. I am so sorry to hear about your loss of Lexy. Please find comfort in knowing that Lexy is now at Rainbows Bridge and making lots of friends. Saying goodbye is never easy. I also lost my precious cat Spooky July 30th 2001 after 16 wonderful years with her. I have lost several babies since Spooky's passing. Hannah 1/11/13, Sammi 8/2/13,Maci 4/9/14, Gabbi 3/20/17, Zoe 1/3/18, Willow 6/4/18, Shelby 6/12/18, Bear 11/17/19 and Bella and Murphy who were both tragically poisoned on 06/18/20. Hello, pretty Lexy. We're sorry we've not visited sooner...we didn't know about you. Our Pressy is the little old gray lady kitty who plays in golden sunbeams and chases bright rainbows and colorful butterflies with you. Pressy told us about you and asked her family to visit kitty playmate Lexy. She said you trade kitty love headbumps and she taught you to send love signs on the wind so Mommy hears your sweet meows and purrs and feels a soft touch of your kitty paw in gentle breezes. Pressy said you send love signs to tell her you're in Paradise meadow watching over her waiting until she comes for you to cross Rainbow Bridge together forever. Play meadow games with other furangels in beautiful Paradise but stop often to smile at Mommy so she feels the warmth of your love surround her and knows you miss her too and are with her for she loves you deeply and misses you so.
