My deepest sympathies to you and your family on your loss. I do know what it is like to lose a loved one, whether Human or one of our special, furry babies. Having lost quite a few of my own and doing dog rescue, it is never easy. From my house of 5 furr babies, to yours, we wish you the best. If you ever need to write please do so. I will be there for you. They never leave us, we just don't see them any more. Their spirit lives on.

I am so sorry to hear about your loss of Lucky. Please find comfort in knowing that Lucky is now at Rainbows Bridge and making lots of friends. Saying goodbye is never easy. I also lost my precious cat Spooky July 30th 2001 after 16 wonderful years with her. I am sure that Lucky and Spooky have become good friends. Elaine & David, what an awesome furbaby. I am so very sorry that Lucky had to leave to cross the bridge. They are not lost, just waiting for us. One of my best friends and companion of 16 years, Willy, went to the bridge in January. My tears still flow when I think of him. I know though, that he and Willy are probably playing in the meadows, running and jumping now. I know Willy loved the sunshine and I hope that he does too. I truly believe that God would not have made a Heaven without our beloved companions there to meet us. I have left an extra angel to look over Lucky, as they are our special angels watching over us. I hope that your pain begins to turn to peace that fills your heart with nothing but wonderful memories. They make the days become a little less heartbreaking knowing that their hearts are always with ours. God Bless You until we all meet again. I would love for you to visit Willy at http://rainbowsbridge.com/residents/WILLY010/Resident.HTM

Elaine and David, I just visited and read your beautiful story about Lucky. He had such a lovely long life and brought such joy to so many people, as well as to you. I know the pain of losing a beloved pet, I lost my precious Bichon, Amor July 1, 2010. Its easier for me now but I still miss Amor and think of her everyday. I know soon you'll smile just remembering all the love and joy Lucky gave you so freely. Please visit Amor at Rainbow Bridge to see my little girl. Take care, God bless. Dear Elaine and David, I have tears in my eyes as I write because your words were such a beautiful tribute to a precious kitty. It's so easy to see how very much Lucky was loved and how much love he gave you and others in return. I know and understand the sorrow and loss you feel for both of my kitties left for the rainbow meadow two weeks apart after being with me for many years. I will tell my Inky and Bubba Lou to find Lucky, Misty, Max and Samantha Jane, and they will all play in heaven's sunshine until we are reunited with them at the bridge someday. Blessings of comfort and peace to you, dear friends.

Elaine and David, so sorry for your loss. Saying goodbye is never easy.....those little furry companions definitely steal our hearts and souls. They are so precious and are truly one of God's greatest gifts. Take comfort in that their love for us goes on as our love for them does for eternity. I am sure that the memories of this precious member will be with you always. We also lost our adorable little pug, Nikki Mae, who was the light of our lives for more than 14 wonderful years. We are sure that beautiful Lucky and Nikki Mae have become good friends and are now having so much fun playing and running again. Please visit our Nikki Mae at: http://RainbowsBridge.com/residents/NIKKI115/Resident.htm

Lucky - You were so special to your family and they have loved you in a special way! Send the family some signs, kisses from the Rainbow to let them know that you are safe, happy, healthy and will have many friends. Let Elaine and David know that God has appointed you to be their guardian, protector to watch over them until they are called to the Bridge to join you one day. I will tell my Brande to find you and play with you. To Elaine and David - I send my sincere sympathy to you over the loss of Lucky. I too lost my soulmate not long ago, see Brande at http://rainbowsbridge.com/residents/BRAND167/Resident.htm - We know that God has promised we will be with our babies again one day. I leave this quote with you, "heaven is the only place where all the dogs and cats you have ever loved will come running to meet you." Author Unknown

Hello, handsome Lucky, welcome to the sunny meadow by Rainbow Bridge. Mother and Father love and miss you so...they made you a beautiful place and wrote loving words about you. We asked our Pressy to help welcome you and be a playmate to chase sunbeams and rainbows and share kitty love headbumps. She'll show you wonders of Paradise meadow and teach you to send love signs on the wind so Mother and Father hear your sweet meows and purrs and feel a soft touch of your kitty paw in gentle breezes. You're now a guardian star shining brightly until they come to cross the Bridge together for all time. We ask they not be so sad but remember you're curled up beside your pawprints in their hearts forever. Play meadow games with other furangels but stop often to smile at Mother and Father so they feel the warmth of your love surround them and know you miss them too. Soar among clouds now on silvery new angel wings to watch over Mother and Father always, beloved Lucky. Pressy's Grandpa

What a full, long wonderful life Lucky had. No wonder he could do so wll as a Therapy Cat! Permit me to borrow a line from the Eveready Bunny "Lucky kept going and going and would not quite until his destiny was fulfilled. Like our Boots who also had diabetes I bet he never really complained.
