Dear Jim, I am very sorry for the loss of your precious Luke and his companions Jake and Sam. I think it's awesome that you rescue dogs and give them such a loving home. I read your entire story and cried. We also had a crew of four and it was a crazy, fun madhouse around here and I would not change it for anything in the world!\. Our first boy Toby started it all. We lost Toby and Rusty in 2015 (the heartbreak was excruciating), we lost Monty and Jake in 2020. I'm with you there - 2020 was horrible. I hope Harley enjoys center stage and that your heart is ready to accept more furry friends in need, as they will be very lucky if you find them. Sincerely, Patti

I am so sorry to hear about your loss of Luke. Please find comfort in knowing that Luke is now at Rainbows Bridge and making lots of friends. Saying goodbye is never easy. I also lost my precious cat Spooky July 30th 2001 after 16 wonderful years with her. I have lost several babies since Spooky's passing. Hannah 1/11/13, Sammi 8/2/13,Maci 4/9/14, Gabbi 3/20/17, Zoe 1/3/18, Willow 6/4/18, Shelby 6/12/18, Bear 11/17/19 and Bella and Murphy who were both tragically poisoned on 06/18/20. I am very sorry for your loss of this very special pup, Luke. He is so fortunate to have found a family who loves him and took fantastic care of him. Play hard at the Bridge sweet Luke with your buddies and run through meadows. Look for Molly (our Aussie). She suffered from the same ailment as you, but she loves to play and can show you the ropes.
