As you cherish and remember every memory and moment, please be comforted and know that your Mackie is at the Rainbow Bridge meeting many new friends including my Bailey who crossed over to the Bridge on July 29, 2016. Lynne...a beautiful tribute to a great friend. Mackie is a beautiful boy. It is always hard to lose a furry young or old and I have lost both. But no matter what or for whatever reason they are always taken from us too soon leaving their forever pawprints within us. I am so sorry to hear about your loss of Mackie. Please find comfort in knowing that Mackie is now at Rainbows Bridge and making lots of friends. Saying goodbye is never easy. I also lost my precious cat Spooky July 30th 2001 after 16 wonderful years with her. I have lost several babies since Spooky's passing. Hannah 1/11/13, Sammi 8/2/13,Maci 4/9/14, Gabbi 3/20/17, Zoe 1/3/18, Willow 6/4/18, and Shelby 6/12/18. I am sure that Mackie and my babies have all become good friends. I'm honored to have known the spunky little man, Mackie. Warned many times he might bite me, he never did. Though he did wrestle a shoe lace once. He even warmed to my own princess, as they learned to co-existed on a walk. Game recognize game. He was quirky, ferocious, energetic, adorable, loyal, handsome and clearly in love with and dedicated to his woman. What more can you say? I'm better to have known him.
