Lana, I just came across Maggie's residency and read all your words to her. I had to leave a note telling you how touched I am by your tribute here to Maggie, and how very sorry I am for your profound loss. Maggie was beautiful! I pray that in time, your memories of her will bring you joy, and that the pain of losing her will subside. Please try not to blame yourself. Dear Lana, I love every picture. She's so beautiful and looks so cuddly and sweet. What a wonderful blessing that she came into your life many years ago and brought happiness and love to your heart and home. I know the sorrow of saying goodbye to a precious little companion but we must always remember that our babies have gone to a happy place where they are young and well again. Sweet Maggie now plays like a puppy in heaven's most beautiful meadow. My kitties, Inky and Bubba Lou, the lights of my life, were there to welcome Maggie and I am sure they have already fallen in love with her sweet and gentle ways. Our babies know that they will be reunited with their earthly mommies someday. When we cross the rainbow bridge and they come running to greet us, we will be with them forever more. Hello Lana, I am so sorry for the lost of your beautiful Maggie. King Solomon wrote in Ecclesiastes: "To everything there is a season and a time to every purpose under heaven…a time to weep and a time to laugh; a time to mourn and a time to dance…" The Zohar, the classic work of Kabbalah, describes the inner psyche of man as "crying being on one side of the heart and laughing on the other side of the heart." Yet, there is an even deeper understanding, we will learn to be joyous and broken hearted at the same time. Our fur babies where so beautiful and a gift of true joy & love, how can we not be happy when we reflect on there memory and begin to celebrate there life.
