Hello Sharon, I am so sorry for the lost of your beautiful Matey. King Solomon wrote in Ecclesiastes: "To everything there is a season and a time to every purpose under heaven…a time to weep and a time to laugh; a time to mourn and a time to dance…" The Zohar, the classic work of Kabbalah, describes the inner psyche of man as "crying being on one side of the heart and laughing on the other side of the heart." Yet, there is an even deeper understanding, we will learn to be joyous and broken hearted at the same time. Our fur babies where so beautiful and a gift of true joy & love, how can we not be happy when we reflect on their memory and begin to celebrate their life. Sharon, so sorry for your loss. Saying goodbye is never easy.....those little furry companions definitely steal our hearts and souls. They are so precious and are truly one of God's greatest gifts. Take comfort in that their love for us goes on as our love for them does for eternity. I am sure that the memories of this precious member will be with you always. We also lost our adorable little pug, Nikki Mae, who was the light of our lives for more than 14 wonderful years. We are sure that beautiful Matey and Nikki Mae have become good friends and are now having so much fun playing and running again. Matey - you are such a beautiful girl and I know you brought a lot of happiness to your Mom and Dad. Now that you are running free at the rainbow bridge,could you look after my sponge bob ? He came there about a month ago and I miss him so much. I would like to know he has a lot of friends there. To your Mom and Dad, I am so sorry Matey had to leave you so suddenly. That's how my best buddy left me. You have my sympathy

I am so sorry to hear about your loss of Matey. Please find comfort in knowing that Matey is now at Rainbows Bridge and making lots of friends. Saying goodbye is never easy. I also lost my precious cat Spooky July 30th 2001 after 16 wonderful years with her. Just recently on January 11, 2013, I lost my faithful friend Hannah who was a beautiful blue tick hound dog. Spooky never met Hannah but I am sure Spooky greeted Hannah at the bridge. I am sure that Matey, Spooky, and Hannah have become good friends. Dear Sharon I'm sorry for the loss of your Matey. What a good looking guy.I lost my Finnbar suddenly in December.I understand how hard it is to say goodbye. When its time you'll be together again just as it should be. Until then Matey is waiting for you at the bridge happy and healthy. It sounds like he's in good company. He's young again and even more perfect than you remember. He's got so much space to run like the wind and meadows to lie in the sun when he needs a break. I hope he's met Finn by now. We asked our Pressy to help Bosun and Chris welcome you and be a playmate to chase sunbeams and rainbows and give you special kitty love headbumps. She'll show you wonders of Paradise meadow and teach you to send love signs on the wind so Mom and Dad feel your loving presence with them and sweet kisses in gentle breezes. You're now another guardian star shining brightly until they come to cross the Bridge together for all time. We ask they not be so sad but treasure your memory and remember you're nestled beside your pawprints deep in their hearts forever. From looking at your photo and reading what Sharon wrote for and about you it is obvious that you came from a very warm and loving home. Matey I know you have many friends waiting for you at Rainbows Bridge. Please find my little boy Pedro and give him my love. For Sharon, Losing a beloved furbaby is very difficult, I know, however the knowledge that we gave them a warm and safe home while they were with us can give great comfort.
