I know you are hurting. What a beautiful, sweet girl. And what an incredible mom you were to her. Her story brought tears to my eyes. My sweet boy, Bristol, also had issues - and choosing to let him go broke, no, shattered me. I have to find solace in knowing that I did everything I could for him, and made his leaving this world as peaceful and pain-free as I could. Like you, I could not take him into the vet's office, but we said goodbye beneath a beautiful tree with him in my arms. Your journey is so similar to mine with Bristol - please know that you and Melody are in my thoughts. You will find peace - but only when it is right for you, and your sweet Melody.

I am so sorry to hear about your loss of Melody. Please find comfort in knowing that Melody is now at Rainbows Bridge and making lots of friends. Saying goodbye is never easy. I also lost my precious cat Spooky July 30th 2001 after 16 wonderful years with her. I have lost several babies since Spooky's passing. Hannah 1/11/13, Sammi 8/2/13,Maci 4/9/14, Gabbi 3/20/17, Zoe 1/3/18, Willow 6/4/18, and Shelby 6/12/18. I am sure that Melody and my babies have all become good friends.
