I am so sorry to hear about your loss of Merlin. Please find comfort in knowing that Merlin is now at Rainbows Bridge and making lots of friends. Saying goodbye is never easy. I also lost my precious cat Spooky July 30th 2001 after 16 wonderful years with her. I have lost several babies since Spooky's passing. Hannah 1/11/13, Sammi 8/2/13,Maci 4/9/14, Gabbi 3/20/17, Zoe 1/3/18, Willow 6/4/18, and Shelby 6/12/18. I am sure that Merlin and my babies have all become good friends. This message is more personal than most that I write, because of things we have in common: 1)Your Merlin looks so much like my Miss Kitty who went to the Rainbow Bridge just this past July. She was a Tortie, but I called her my black velvet girl. 2)I currently have a 12-year-old cat named Stardust. Both these girls were rescues of sorts and are much loved by my husband and me. So...my heart goes out to you in the loss of your beautiful, beloved Merlin, and I thank you for sharing such special memories with us.
