I am so sorry to hear about your loss of Mickey. Please find comfort in knowing that Mickey is now at Rainbows Bridge and making lots of friends. Saying goodbye is never easy. I also lost my precious cat Spooky July 30th 2001 after 16 wonderful years with her. I am sure that Mickey and Spooky have become good friends. Dear Paul and Donna, there is no doubt that sweet Mickey has made many new furfriends in that beautiful, heavenly meadow above us. He is beautiful and precious in every way! Now Mickey romps with joy in a new world full of love and fun, knowing all along that he will be reunited with his earthly family someday. I know this is all true because my two kitties, Inky and Bubba Lou, are at the rainbow meadow, too. I am sure my kitties have fallen in love with your angel baby. My Sidney was on the bridge to welcome Mickey to his new home. They are chasing sunbeams and telling "tails" of their great lives. I have asked them to send you a rainbow from heaven above, a upside down smile. When you miss Mickey the most, listen to your heart, his love and paw print are there.

Hello Paul & Donna, I am so sorry for the lost of your beautiful Mickey. King Solomon wrote in Ecclesiastes: "To everything there is a season and a time to every purpose under heaven…a time to weep and a time to laugh; a time to mourn and a time to dance…" The Zohar, the classic work of Kabbalah, describes the inner psyche of man as "crying being on one side of the heart and laughing on the other side of the heart." Yet, there is an even deeper understanding, we will learn to be joyous and broken hearted at the same time. Our fur babies where so beautiful and a gift of true joy & love, how can we not be happy when we reflect on their memory and begin to celebrate their life.
