Hello Ken & Nancy, I am so sorry for the lost of your beautiful Mike. King Solomon wrote in Ecclesiastes: "To everything there is a season and a time to every purpose under heaven…a time to weep and a time to laugh; a time to mourn and a time to dance…" The Zohar, the classic work of Kabbalah, describes the inner psyche of man as "crying being on one side of the heart and laughing on the other side of the heart." Yet, there is an even deeper understanding, we will learn to be joyous and broken hearted at the same time. Our fur babies where so beautiful and a gift of true joy & love, how can we not be happy when we reflect on their memory and begin to celebrate their life. I am so sorry to hear about your loss of Mike. Please find comfort in knowing that Mike is now at Rainbows Bridge and making lots of friends. Saying goodbye is never easy. I also lost my precious cat Spooky July 30th 2001 after 16 wonderful years with her. Just recently on January 11, 2013, I lost my faithful friend Hannah who was a beautiful blue tick hound dog. Spooky never met Hannah but I am sure Spooky greeted Hannah at the bridge. I am sure that Mike, Spooky, and Hannah have become good friends. Ken/Nancy..Mike is a beautiful boy.It is never easy to lose a furry young or old and I have lost both.For whatever reason they are always taken from us too soon while leaving their forever pawprints within us and labs leave them like no other.Mike is now healthy and playing with Oreo,Ralph and Eva while waiting for us to join them on the Bridge.I can send you my babies sites if you wish to visit..take care..

Ken and Nancy, your sweet Mike is beautiful and precious in his picture. What a wonderful blessing that he came into your lives and brought love and happiness to you each and every day he was with you. Now Mike plays with many new furfriends in heavenly sunshine.
