My deepest sympathies to you on your loss. I do know what it is like to lose a loved one, whether Human or one of our special, furry babies. Having lost quite a few of my own and doing dog rescue, it is never easy. From my house of 5 furr babies, to yours, we wish you the best. If you ever need to write please do so. I will be there for you. They never leave us, we just don't see them any more. Their spirit lives on.

Valerie, how beautiful! I am so very sorry that Misty had to leave to cross the bridge. They are not lost, just waiting for us. One of my best friends and companion of 16 years, Willy, went to the bridge in January. My tears still flow when I think of him. I know though, that Misty and Willy are probably playing in the meadows, running and jumping now. I know Willy loved the sunshine and I hope that Misty does too. I truly believe that God would not have made a Heaven without our beloved companions there to meet us. I have left an extra angel to look over Misty, as they are our special angels watching over us. I hope that your pain begins to turn to peace that fills your heart with nothing but wonderful memories. They make the days become a little less heartbreaking knowing that their hearts are always with ours. God Bless You until we all meet again. I lost my precious Bichon, Amor July 1, 2010, its easier for me now but I still miss Amor and think of her everyday. Misty - You were an independent woman and you left many endearing memories! Send mom some signs, kisses from the Rainbow to let her know that you are safe, happy, healthy, and will have many friends. Hello Valerie, I am so sorry for the lost of your beautiful Misty. King Solomon wrote in Ecclesiastes: "To everything there is a season and a time to every purpose under heaven…a time to weep and a time to laugh; a time to mourn and a time to dance…" The Zohar, the classic work of Kabbalah, describes the inner psyche of man as "crying being on one side of the heart and laughing on the other side of the heart." Yet, there is an even deeper understanding, we will learn to be joyous and broken hearted at the same time. Our fur babies where so beautiful and a gift of true joy & love, how can we not be happy when we reflect on there memory and begin to celebrate there life. Dear Valerie, she's so very beautiful and I am sure she brought joy to your life every day she was with you. I know and understand your sorrow for both of my kitties left for the rainbow meadow two weeks apart after blessing my life for many years. Valerie, so sorry for your loss. Saying goodbye is never easy.....those little furry companions definitely steal our hearts and souls. They are so precious and are truly one of God's greatest gifts.
