I am so sorry to hear about your loss of Mr. Freckles. Please find comfort in knowing that Mr. Freckles is now at Rainbows Bridge and making lots of friends. Saying goodbye is never easy. I also lost my precious cat Spooky July 30th, 2001, after 16 wonderful years with her. I have lost several babies since Spooky's passing. Hannah 1/11/13, Sammi 8/2/13, Maci 4/9/14, Gabbi 3/20/17, Zoe 1/3/18, Willow 6/4/18, Shelby 6/12/18, Bear 11/17/19, Bella and Murphy who were both tragically poisoned on 06/18/20, Firefly 12/20/22, Zachary 02/19/23, Tanner 02/22/24 and Tiger 08/01/24. Mr.Freckles was a very special guy! While I was working at SDS almost two years ago my personal dog had passed and I was very down. Mr.Freckles had been brought in rarely recently and I was allowed to take him home with me for an overnight sleepover! He was the most behaved gentleman and enjoyed a movie on the couch with me. He watched the whole movie! When it was bedtime he got into my bed and snuggled all night! That night gave me so much joy! It was such a blessing to get to know! I’m so happy he got to spend time in a loving home with an AMAZING family! My heart is with you in this difficult time!
