I am so sorry to hear about your loss of Mr. Nickels. Please find comfort in knowing that Mr. Nickels is now at Rainbows Bridge and making lots of friends. Saying goodbye is never easy. I also lost my precious cat Spooky July 30th 2001 after 16 wonderful years with her. I have lost several babies since Spooky's passing. Hannah 1/11/13, Sammi 8/2/13,Maci 4/9/14, Gabbi 3/20/17, Zoe 1/3/18, Willow 6/4/18, Shelby 6/12/18, and Bear 11/17/19. I am sure that Mr. Nickels and my babies have all become good friends. What a wonderful tribute for Mr. Nickels! He sounds wonderful and I know he is at the Bridge making new friends. Mr. Nickels, look for Fluff (our cat) at the Bridge, he loves to play. Also, look in on your family from time to time sending sweet kitty kisses. Otis and Winchester look for you so look in on them too. Rest easy sweet boy.

Sara, I saw your name on Bailey Oster's Memorial and I knew I had to reach out to you. Your Mr. Nickels transitioned just 5 days before my sweet, beautiful Golden Retriever Lady. She died on April 22 @4:20am on the couch where we slept together. I did not, like you, discover Lady's illness until 5 days before she died. She had, only days before, stopped eating all of her food and was having difficulty jumping onto the couch with me. My son-in-law (with whom I live along with my daughter) and I took Lady to our vet and there, they discovered that she had a malignant tumour on her liver, inoperable. So, I took her home with me to give her hospice care, thinking that I had, maybe, a couple of weeks. Alas, that did not happen. Just two days later she had her last long drink of water and, from there, she never left the couch with me. So, I understand your grief. She died in her sleep beside me. Hugging you. May you finde peace in your heart and soul. Sending you love & healing blessings.
