After reading about your Nikita I wanted to say I am so sorry for the loss of such a precious furbaby. I lost my furbaby Nikita a miniature schnauzer age 13 on 1-10-2013. She was my baby girl and best friend. We did everything together much like you both did with your precious Nikita. There were 5 of us and the vet who delivered her via c-section who helped her to the rainbow bridge. You both are right about the profound loss & never forgetting. I can't imagine where I go from here. One second at a time most days. Its wonderful you had a painting done of Nikita to greet you. I've been using a screen saver to say goodnight and greet me in the mornings. Your words give me hope and encouragement. Thank you for sharing your Nikita & your love for her. lil Nikita's Mom in NC

What a beautiful memorial to Nikita. What a beautiful dog and I know she'll always be with you & is waiting at the Bridge. My tears are still flowing from reading about Nikita.

I visit Nikita today, she was a beutiful baby and had a wonderful family that give her a lot of love and exelent care during her life. I also lost my Princess 10 days ago , a white sheperd mix ,do to the same illness Nikita had. they are playing together now at the raimbow bridge waiting to reunite with US.
