Thinking about the quality of his life guided you to make that difficult decision to let him journey peacefully to Rainbow Bridge. We asked our Pressy to welcome you and be a playmate to chase colorful butterflies and trade kitty love headbumps. She'll show you Paradise meadow and teach you to send love signs on the wind so Mommy hears your sweet meows and purrs and feels a soft touch of your kitty paw in gentle breezes. You're now a guardian star shining brightly until she comes for you one day to cross the Bridge together for all time. I am so sorry to hear about your loss of Pedro. Please find comfort in knowing that Pedro is now at Rainbows Bridge and making lots of friends. Saying goodbye is never easy. I also lost my precious cat Spooky July 30th 2001 after 16 wonderful years with her. I have lost several babies since Spooky's passing. Hannah 1/11/13, Sammi 8/2/13,Maci 4/9/14, Gabbi 3/20/17, Zoe 1/3/18, Willow 6/4/18, Shelby 6/12/18, Bear 11/17/19 and Bella and Murphy who were both tragically poisoned on 06/18/20. Aleta I am so sorry about Pedro. What you wrote reflected how much you loved him. Some vets are not so great, however the vet you used to end Pedro's suffering was humanistic sensitive to the pain you were experiencing. What you wrote reflects how much you loved Pedro.

Pedro, I know you have now crossed over the rainbow bridge with swift speed and are watching over Aleta. You had an amazing life, and while you may not have stayed here as long as we all wish, it is good to know you had an amazing quality of life while you were here. Dear Aleta - my heart is breaking for you. I have experienced pain so similar to what you are going through. Know that you did the merciful thing for your loved one. They rely on us humans for everything including at the most critical time of need. I know it sounds crazy and we feel like we betrayed them but nature tells us when they are ready and they are the fortunate ones to have loving caring guardians like you to do what’s best for them.
