Michael..a beautiful tribute to a great friend. Penny is a beautiful girl. It is always hard to lose a furry young or old and I have lost both. But no matter what or for whatever reason they are always taken from us too soon leaving their forever pawprints within us. Dear Michael; I am so very sorry to hear of the loss of your beautiful Penny Pina. She is waiting for you at Rainbow Bridge running and playing like a puppy once again while she waits there for you. Rainbow Bridge is a wonderful, beautiful, peaceful, safe place that God has created for our fur babies to wait for us to reunite with them once again. I know it's hard but it will get better. I remember when your Papa first told me he got a dog. It was a surprise since I didn't know he was looking for a dog. You were smaller than the palm of my hand...so tiny but fierce! I remember our walks in Tucson and how you would take off running, you were so fast! Always kept a close eye on you to ensure a hawk wouldn't snatch you. You were my study pet for years sitting on my desk or next to my feet, you were so comforting. I enjoyed taking you and Luna to the parks in Washington. I know how much you loved car rides and sticking your head out the window. I miss you Penny but I find comfort knowing you're in dog heaven and free from pain and discomfort, you are young and healthy again. I love you Penny. Say hi to Sonny and Rusty for me. I'll do my best to take care your Papa while you're gone. We'll see you again at the rainbow bridge. Rest little dog of the world. -Teri

I am so sorry to hear about your loss of Penny. Please find comfort in knowing that Penny is now at Rainbows Bridge and making lots of friends. Saying goodbye is never easy. I also lost my precious cat Spooky July 30th, 2001, after 16 wonderful years with her. I have lost several babies since Spooky's passing. Hannah 1/11/13, Sammi 8/2/13, Maci 4/9/14, Gabbi 3/20/17, Zoe 1/3/18, Willow 6/4/18, Shelby 6/12/18, Bear 11/17/19, Bella and Murphy who were both tragically poisoned on 06/18/20, Firefly 12/20/22, and Zachary 02/19/23.
