Such an adorable furbaby! Looks spunky and with a lot of personality! I am so sorry he had to leave you. Looks like he lived a good life with you. It hurts so much and the pain does take a while to subside. We honor them with that pain and with missing them so much. I just lost a precious furbaby and I know how you must be feeling. I visualize my baby much healthier now and yours too. They will be happier soon, They miss us as much as we miss them. My kitty loved it when I sang to him so that is what I do every day now. I sing and talk all the time! I pray he hears and knows how much he is missed. I feel he does. Empty corners and beds are really tough to see every day. I will rescue again but just not right now. He deserves my heartfelt feelings of mourning for him for a while longer. I hope you too can find solace in your warm memories of Pepper and the good life you had together. Be well and sing away!

Kathleen, You are so right. Having rescue fur babies does change ones life. They give us so much. Knowing they are at the Rainbow Bridge with other beloved family members is comforting. Its nice to hear your beloved Nyla is doing well. Hold to your heart the dear memories you and Pepper created together.

Dear Kathleen, My heart goes out to you in sadness in the loss of your Pepper. I've been a dog owner/lover all my life, so I know the deep heartache we feel when we lose one so precious to us. I am so sorry to hear about your loss of Pepper. Please find comfort in knowing that Pepper is now at Rainbows Bridge and making lots of friends. Saying goodbye is never easy. I also lost my precious cat Spooky July 30th 2001 after 16 wonderful years with her. I have lost several babies since Spooky's passing. Hannah 1/11/13, Sammi 8/2/13,Maci 4/9/14, Gabbi 3/20/17, Zoe 1/3/18, Willow 6/4/18, Shelby 6/12/18, Bear 11/17/19 and Bella and Murphy who were both tragically poisoned on 06/18/20.
