I just read your memorial to pickles. How precious. I had the same experience with my little Sally Sue. They are darling precious little animals. I'm very sorry Pickles had such a short time, but, this little one was deeply loved and cared for. I still marvel at how Sally Sue was found, that she survived long enough for the dogs and me to find her on a walk. Omigoodness, if ever a little animal embodied such complete adorableness it is these tiny ones!I had Sally Sue, (or she had me!) for 10 months. I wanted her to live forever! Adorable in every possible way. I miss her daily. Thank all of you for caring about Pickles and loving him, providing all the chances possible for living. Thank you for loving him so much. May the story & memories be a tool to show others that ALL life matters.

Hello Tina Marie & Dylan, I am so sorry for the lost of your beautiful baby Pickles. King Solomon wrote in Ecclesiastes: "To everything there is a season and a time to every purpose under heaven…a time to weep and a time to laugh; a time to mourn and a time to dance…" The Zohar, the classic work of Kabbalah, describes the inner psyche of man as "crying being on one side of the heart and laughing on the other side of the heart." Yet, there is an even deeper understanding, we will learn to be joyous and broken hearted at the same time. I am so sorry to hear about your loss of Pickles. Please find comfort in knowing that Pickles is now at Rainbows Bridge and making lots of friends. Saying goodbye is never easy. I just want to let all of you know that your words of comfort are so appreciated...and Dylan (and Alyssa) have enjoyed reading all the messages of those that have taken the time to let us know they are thinking of us and care. Dylan said today "I miss Pickles" and was sad, but most of the time we try to remember the cute little things he did and smile. Dylan's 7th birthday is coming up in a couple weeks and he would like to get a baby mouse if we can find one that he can love just like he did Pickles. We will keep you updated...Thank you all again for your thoughts and prayers as this has been a tough time for a little boy...(and his mommy!) We are blessed to have so many people out there that care and dont just laugh and say..."it was just a mouse!" We appreciate that!

They are so precious and are truly one of God's greatest gifts. Take comfort in that their love for us goes on as our love for them does for eternity.
