I am so sorry to hear about your loss of Polo. Please find comfort in knowing that Polo is now at Rainbows Bridge and making lots of friends. Saying goodbye is never easy. I also lost my precious cat Spooky July 30th 2001 after 16 wonderful years with her. I have lost several babies since Spooky's passing. Hannah 1/11/13, Sammi 8/2/13,Maci 4/9/14, Gabbi 3/20/17, Zoe 1/3/18, Willow 6/4/18, and Shelby 6/12/18. I am sure that Polo and my babies have all become good friends. I am so very sorry for you the loss of gorgeous Polo. As a fur mama who has also suffered a recent loss, I know how hard this is. I question everything that I did all the time, wished I could have done more, thought I should have tried more. In my heart I know that I did everything I could, and from reading that beautiful memorial - I have no doubt that you went above and beyond for Polo. Jacqui: It was the last act of kindness Polo will ever know, as he trusted you with his life and afforded him to peacefully journey to Rainbow Bridge, where all the loving souls go to wait patiently for their human. There is no more pain or suffering and it's quite likely he is dashing around the tall cool grasses where the mice give good chase, the sunbeams offer wonderful baths and the air is sweet and gentle. Allow this imagery to lessen your heartache throughout the days. I'm so deeply sorry for your loss and added another brick to the paw-lined path to Polo's resting place.
