Such an adorable doggie! I am so very sorry for loss of sweet Poopie Puppy Blade. Sounds like he was your angel. And I pray now he feels better and will be up there watching over you until you meet again. Our babies love it when we call their names. I sing my baby's favorite song to him almost every day. I think he hears because I have gotten two visits late at night. They do love to hear us call their names. They love to know how very much we love them and miss them. I tell him how important he is in my life and will always be. It keeps us connected and it makes me feel good too. So talk and sing to Blade and maybe you too will get a personal visit telling you he is doing OK.I hope soon your tears will be all smiles at the wonderful memories. Be well. Dear Dreama, Although some time has passed, I can tell you still miss your Blade. Some fur babies just make indelible marks on our souls. I am so sorry to hear about your loss of Blade. Please find comfort in knowing that Blade is now at Rainbows Bridge and making lots of friends. Saying goodbye is never easy. I also lost my precious cat Spooky July 30th 2001 after 16 wonderful years with her. I have lost several babies since Spooky's passing. Hannah 1/11/13, Sammi 8/2/13,Maci 4/9/14, Gabbi 3/20/17, Zoe 1/3/18, Willow 6/4/18, Shelby 6/12/18, Bear 11/17/19 and Bella and Murphy who were both tragically poisoned on 06/18/20. Though you never get over a good dog, it does get easier. You learn to live your new normal. Call out his name when your heart is breaking, and tell him how much you miss him. Sing songs, write poems or random thoughts or simply just sit and think of your boy. Do whatever it is that your soul needs you to do so you can heal. Years from now you may call one of the other dogs by his name, as he stirs in your heart. You may tear up reading about someone else's loss as you grieve not only for them, but also for your boy because a memory was stirred. He will always be a part of you in your heart and memories. He will never be just gone, as he is now a part of your soul.
