Merry Christmas dear little Riley Jack. Lizzie, I am thinking about you today and I understand that you will be sad just as I am. We will always miss our little ones but we have to remember that they are in a beautiful place where there is no such thing as pain, sadness or illness. I often imagine my little Tinkle & Cheryl running around the meadow having a wonderful time together with their little friends. Riley Jack is one of them. I know it is hard that we had to give them back to God as we loved them with everything we had to give. I always feel so privileged that God loaned my babies to me. The joy was tremendous but somehow I just forgot that I would have to give them back one day. Thank you for your lovely message to me and sorry I have not replied before this but I would love to keep in touch with you Lizzie. Happy Birthday sweet little man. I hope you had a fun party with all your friends at RB. Please send lots of kisses to your loving mommy as she misses you so very much. I always visit you each week as I put my babies names on the prayer list. You passed away in the same year as my little girl, Tinkle, so there is a special bond between all of us who lost our little darlings around that time. I met your mommy on the Monday night Candlelight Service but have not been able to go there for ages now as my heart is too broken to cope with the rawness of everyone else's pain as well as my own. Grandpa always lights a candle for me. Please say 'hello' to my Tinkle & Cheryl when you see them and tell them I love them very, very much. Rest peacefully Riley Jack xoxoxox

My deepest sympathies to you on your loss. I do know what it is like to lose a loved one, whether Human or one of our special, furry babies. Having lost quite a few of my own and doing dog rescue, it is never easy. From my house of 6 furr babies, to yours, we wish you the best. If you ever need to write please do so. I will be there for you. They never leave us, we just don't see them any more. Their spirit lives on.

Lizzie, so sorry for your loss. Saying goodbye is never easy.....those little furry companions definitely steal our hearts and souls. They are so precious and are truly one of God's greatest gifts. Lizzie..a beautiful tribute to a beautiful friend. Sometimes things are just not in our control. But no matter what or for whatever reason they are always taken from us too soon leaving their forever pawprints within us.
