Dear Jan and Joe, I just lost my own snowshoe kitty, Luna. I found your memorial for Rocky after looking for other snowshoe memorials. I'm touched by how much you love your Rocky, and how you return each year to write him a message. My sweet Luna passed after twelve years, and she was truly my best friend. I'm sorry you didn't get more time with Rocky, but I hope your two new snowshoe kitties fill your lives with love like my Luna did. Sincerely, Sara Altenhoff

May the memories of your blessed furangel, the ones that can't help but bring a smile to your face and a chuckle to your heart as you remember how your baby’s paw prints touched your life, be the ones that bloom in your heart this Holiday Season. I know you were at the bridge to welcome my Sassy & Frosty, they are purrfect kitties just like you, I hope you all are having so much fun playing and chasing golden sunbeams! Dear Jan & Joe, I am deeply sorry for your loss, my thoughts and prayers are with you both. I truly understand the hurt, pain, sorrow, heart ache, & emptiness you are feeling as I have recently lost my Sassy & Frosty. I am so sorry to hear about your loss of Rocky. Please find comfort in knowing that Rocky is now at Rainbows Bridge and making lots of friends. Saying goodbye is never easy. I also lost my precious cat Spooky July 30th 2001 after 16 wonderful years with her. I am sure that Rocky and Spooky have become good friends. Just recently on January 11, 2013, I lost my faithful friend Hannah who was a beautiful blue tick hound dog. Spooky never met Hannah but I am sure Spooky greeted Hannah at the bridge. Hello Jan & Joe, I am so sorry for the lost of your beautiful Rocky. King Solomon wrote in Ecclesiastes: "To everything there is a season and a time to every purpose under heaven…a time to weep and a time to laugh; a time to mourn and a time to dance…" The Zohar, the classic work of Kabbalah, describes the inner psyche of man as "crying being on one side of the heart and laughing on the other side of the heart." Yet, there is an even deeper understanding, we will learn to be joyous and broken hearted at the same time. Our fur babies where so beautiful and a gift of true joy & love, how can we not be happy when we reflect on their memory and begin to celebrate their life.
