Oh he is so adorable and a ginger kitty!! I have one of those right now but she is a kitten I rescued after just losing my Cujo Kitty of 15 years. It was kind of soon but I am glad I could help and save a kitten.So I did it. I am so very sorry Rusty had to leave you. They suffer just like we do when they have to go. I talk to my angel every day. I tell him how much I love him no matter where he is. I thank him for all the wonderful years we had together and I tell him he is still here in my home with us. He is now my angel as Rusty is now yours. They will watch over us until we all hug again. What a joyful day! Rusty is feeling good which is always the prize we get for letting them go and he will soon be happy, just takes time. I sing Cujo's favorite song to him. I have gotten two visits late at night so I think he hears..they are always around us just in different form. Be well. God bless and keep you and Rusty.I love the Halloween idea with the two kitties. Wonderful!

I am so sorry to hear about your loss of Rusty. Please find comfort in knowing that Rusty is now at Rainbows Bridge and making lots of friends. Saying goodbye is never easy. I also lost my precious cat Spooky July 30th 2001 after 16 wonderful years with her. I have lost several babies since Spooky's passing. Hannah 1/11/13, Sammi 8/2/13,Maci 4/9/14, Gabbi 3/20/17, Zoe 1/3/18, Willow 6/4/18, Shelby 6/12/18, Bear 11/17/19 and Bella and Murphy who were both tragically poisoned on 06/18/20. Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge. When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable. All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor. Those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind. They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent. His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster. You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.
