Jeanette, first let me say how very sorry I am for your loss. If our babies must leave at least Salem got to make the choice and you didn't have to make it and Salem passed in the arms of the one who showed the greatest love. I always hold this thought close in my heart, "they go to sleep in our arms and awake in the arms of the angels restored to perfect health and youth" I do hope you can find some comfort in that.

Hello Baby Boy Salem. Have you been to the bridge and visited my baby girl Salem? I hope she is waiting for me although, she never was much on patience. She wanted her way and that was that. It was one of the things I loved most about her, her funny ways. She knew she owned the house and we just lived there to love and wait on her, which is what I did every day. When you leave us, our hearts hurt without you and we cling to our memories of you. I know your mommy misses you very much and though we hurt, you no longer do. Tell my baby I love her and keep her company until I get there.Our lives were better and brighter because of you.I have to believe that one day it will be again.

My deepest sympathies to you on your loss. I do know what it is like to lose a loved one, whether Human or one of our special, furry babies.
