Barbara..a beautiful boy. It is never easy to lose a furry young or old and I have lost both. For whatever reason they are always taken from us too soon leaving their forever pawprints within us.Sam is now happy,healthy and playing with Oreo,Ralph and Eva while waiting for us to join them on the Bridge. And I just know, too, that you’ve found the coziest & softest places to take your sunshine filled Rainbow-colored doggy-naps, haven't you... May butterflies grace your dreams as you sleep… And may each time you look up and see that wondrously magical Rainbow, may you know that Barbara and all those who loved you back here have helped make it shine a little brighter for you. How? With their tears, sweet baby. You see, each love-drop filled tear here has mixed with the sunshine there at your new home, and your Rainbow shines even brighter for you now..... An old Indian proverb: "The Soul would have no Rainbow if the Eyes had No Tears" says it best... I am so sorry to hear about your loss of Sam. Please find comfort in knowing that Sam is now at Rainbows Bridge and making lots of friends. Saying goodbye is never easy. I also lost my precious cat Spooky July 30th 2001 after 16 wonderful years with her. I am sure that Sam and Spooky have become good friends. Just recently on January 11, 2013, I lost my faithful friend Hannah who was a beautiful blue tick hound dog. Spooky never met Hannah but I am sure Spooky greeted Hannah at the bridge. Barbara, so sorry for your loss. Saying goodbye is never easy....those little furry companions definitely steal our hearts and souls. They are so precious and are truly one of God's greatest gifts. Take comfort in that their love for us goes on as our love for them does for eternity. I am sure that the memories of this precious member will be with you always. We also lost our adorable little pug, Nikki Mae, who was the light of our lives for more than 14 wonderful years. Hello Barbara, I am so sorry for the lost of your beautiful Sam. King Solomon wrote in Ecclesiastes: "To everything there is a season and a time to every purpose under heaven…a time to weep and a time to laugh; a time to mourn and a time to dance…" The Zohar, the classic work of Kabbalah, describes the inner psyche of man as "crying being on one side of the heart and laughing on the other side of the heart." Yet, there is an even deeper understanding, we will learn to be joyous and broken hearted at the same time. Our fur babies where so beautiful and a gift of true joy & love, how can we not be happy when we reflect on their memory and begin to celebrate their life. dear love , I miss you with all my heart. you were my bestfriend . you loved laying next to me and help me with my homework . it's really hard getting used to the fact that you are not with me, but knowing that you are in a better place warms my heart.I remember when you would follow me everywhere I go even when I was showering you would want to come in the bathroom with me.
