Dear Amy & Bill, What a gorgeous fur baby Sambuka was. After reading your journal entries, it is obvious she brought such joy into your hearts. From what you have written, Oreo certainly misses her. We lost our fur baby, Bootsie, four years ago on September 15th. We have two new kitty cats, one whose name happens to be Sambuca (after my husband's favorite liquor!lol). I am so sorry to hear about your loss of Sambuka. Please find comfort in knowing that Sambuka is now at Rainbows Bridge and making lots of friends. Saying goodbye is never easy. I also lost my precious cat Spooky July 30th 2001 after 16 wonderful years with her. I am sure that Sambuka and Spooky have become good friends. im so sorry for your loss.i know the heart ache you are ging through. i lost two of my boys to cancer. one was a year ago and i still cry whe i go to rainbow bridge and look at his monmument. may the lord help to relieve your pain

Such a beautiful name to go with such a beautiful fur baby. I am so sorry for your loss. As long as your memories remain strong, your baby will always remain strong in your heart and soul. Sambuka's spirit will always be there to watch over you. Love is eternal and someday you will be reunited with your fur baby at the Bridge. I know my babies and Sambuka have met and are playing at the bridge having a great time. I look forward to seeing them again. Hi Amy & Bill I am so sorry for the lost of your beautiful Sambuka. I lost my Zander in July 2008, and I know how you are feeling. I know that someday we will be together again with our beautiful companions; so please take comfort in that there love for us goes on as our love for them does for eternity. My deepest sympathies to you on your loss. I do know what it is like to lose a loved one, whether Human or one of our special, furry babies. Having lost quite a few of my own and doing dog rescue, it is never easy. From my house of 8 furr babies, to yours, we wish you the best. If you ever need to write please do so. I will be there for you. They never leave us, we just don't see them any more. Their spirit lives on.

Sambuka, What a precious baby you were, always so loyal and loving. You taught and gave your family so much that they now know the true meaning of unconditional love. Sambuka - You are a handsome guy with a distinct personality all of your own! Send mom and dad some signs, kisses from the Rainbow to let them know that you are safe, happy, healthy and will have many friends. Let Amy and Bill know that God has appointed you to be their guardian, protector to watch over them until they are called to the Bridge to join you one day. You know how much Dad and I loved Sambuka, too. He was certainly unique and a character. Definitely not your usual cat. We know you miss him and yet you have great memories to cherish.
