5/10/21 - Hey buddy! It has been a long time since I reread your story, and I still can not get through it without crying. I guess you met Abby when she crossed over a little over 2 years ago. It has been almost too much losing her...I haven't been able to write about it. She was with me when your daddy passed and when Mina died and Jake's 2 little ones who went before they came, Ivy and Ian. I still look for her to be in her spot on the sofa whenever I come in the door. I miss the 2 of you so much - your puppy rips through the house and then on down into the basement, your kisses and love, the way you always knew when I just needed to sit and cry for a few minutes. How you always knew when enough was enough and then would do something so silly and cute to make me smile. I wish you both were here, healthy and happy and evisorating small stuffed hedgehogs. Here are a couple of new ones to destroy as much as you want to. I love and miss you! Mom

I am so sorry to hear about your loss of Samson. Please find comfort in knowing that Samson is now at Rainbows Bridge and making lots of friends. Saying goodbye is never easy. I also lost my precious cat Spooky July 30th 2001 after 16 wonderful years with her. I am sure that Samson and Spooky have become good friends. My deepest sympathies to you on your loss. I do know what it is like to lose a loved one, whether Human or one of our special, furry babies. Having lost quite a few of my own and doing dog rescue, it is never easy. From my house of 8 furr babies, to yours, we wish you the best. If you ever need to write please do so. I will be there for you. They never leave us, we just don't see them any more. Their spirit lives on.

What a cute memorial story you have written for one that I know was a very loved fur baby. The love that they return to us is the most special because it is undonditional and unless one has experienced it they don't know it. That is why these darlings touch us so deeply and again if a person has not experienced it then they don't know what they are missing. May the grace and peace of the Lord be with you now and forever. Oh Sweet Samson!! I don't know who was luckier-you or your family! A special little dog who went to a special family! Not often do I smile reading the tributes-usually tears flow, but reading about little stinky dog, and "no bite" (that's what I tell my little one)just made me smile. Bless you Samson and Bless your family for their love for you! Special doggies find special people.

I lost my Zander July 2008, I know how sad & empty you must be feeling. please take comfort in knowing that we will one day be together again with our beautiful companions; also know that there love for us is forever, as is our love for them. your baby looks very happy and is such a beautifull baby. Goodbye hurts so much, we feel your pain. No matter how long they have been gone their love is always with us. Our Punky passed on Feb. 2, 2010 think of your baby with smiles instead of tears and it will feel as their little soul has left you with a Rainbow in your heart. Were very sorry for your loss but as we know,your angle is in heaven right now feeling no pain, your sweet baby is happy and is playing with all the other babies who has left us. Samson - You are quite the man with many talents! You were a real soulmate to all the family! Send them some signs, kisses from the Rainbow to let them know that you are safe, happy, healthy and will have many friends. Let Vickie know that God has appointed you to be the guardian, protector to watch over all of them until they are called to the Bridge to join you one day.
