I miss my Sasha so much. He was my baby! Sasha was almost 18 years old and I took better care of him than of myself. He was my favorite kitty. Today is the two year Anniversary and I miss Sasha and try not to think of how the Vet at K-State Hospital in Manhattan, Kansas, killed him! It brings tears to my eyes. Thank you everyone for leaving your thoughts and wishes, I really appreciate it.

Desiree..a beautiful tribute to a great friend. Sasha is a beautiful girl. It is always hard to lose a furry young or old and I have lost both. But no matter what or for whatever reason they are always taken from us too soon leaving their forever pawprints within us. Be sure to know she is happy, healthy and playing with Oreo, Ralph and Eva while waiting for us to join them at the Bridge. I can send you my babies sites if you wish to visit..take care..

Oh I am crying for you with my heart and soul and also so infuriated at that vet. I am so very sorry for dear Sasha. She is so beautiful and I can see so soft and special. I am a kitty person and do truly know how it much feel for you right now. I cannot imagine how I would have handled it. I would want to kill someone!! or at least scream and take it to a higher authority. Mistakes are made but such a beautiful and good life she was having with you. I will pray she is feeling good and will soon feel happy They suffer just as we do so it is important to call her name. Tell her all the things in your heart. They love to hear us call their names. I call my baby's name every day and sing his favorite song to him. It keeps us connected and I pray he hears. They are now our guardian angels watching over us until we hug forever. Things do happen for a reason I believe so do not punish yourself in anyway for taking her to the vet. She was your love and still is. Just love her.

I am so sorry to hear about your loss of Sasha. Please find comfort in knowing that Sasha is now at Rainbows Bridge and making lots of friends. Saying goodbye is never easy. I also lost my precious cat Spooky July 30th 2001 after 16 wonderful years with her. I have lost several babies since Spooky's passing. Hannah 1/11/13, Sammi 8/2/13,Maci 4/9/14, Gabbi 3/20/17, Zoe 1/3/18, Willow 6/4/18, Shelby 6/12/18, Bear 11/17/19 and Bella and Murphy who were both tragically poisoned on 06/18/20.
