Hello my baby girl. Your sister Scala joined you in heaven today. So, the 2 of you can join in mischief again like the old days. Like you, her kidneys gave out -- this time I didn't pressure the vets to keep her alive as I remembered how much suffering you went through. Like you, all I could keep thinking about are the things that I wished that I had done while she was still alive. Have fun together again. One day, I'll join you guys.

I am so very sorry for your loss. You have had a very tough emotional life and it sounds like Shelly came at a good time for both of you. I am so glad you could have her to the end of her life even sharing was a good life for her. The pain of this kind of loss is so devastating. You are right to wait a good period of time to give a chance for another angel to become part of your life. They are so special that no one can replace them so it is Gods will that we mourn and think about only them for a short while. Then with the love in our hearts we find another to help and love. You sound like a really good guy and I pray for you you find another baby to love and be buddies with. You will...I am sure. Let the tears flow for Shelly and then she goes to rest and you move on. I just lost a furbaby and am still very raw.. it was only a month ago. But I will mourn and then try to rescue again. Be well and know Shelly also misses you and will be there to meet you. I am so sorry to hear about your loss of Shelly. Please find comfort in knowing that Shelly is now at Rainbows Bridge and making lots of friends. Saying goodbye is never easy. I also lost my precious cat Spooky July 30th 2001 after 16 wonderful years with her. I have lost several babies since Spooky's passing. Hannah 1/11/13, Sammi 8/2/13,Maci 4/9/14, Gabbi 3/20/17, Zoe 1/3/18, Willow 6/4/18, Shelby 6/12/18, Bear 11/17/19 and Bella and Murphy who were both tragically poisoned on 06/18/20.
