I am so sorry to hear about your loss of Skippy. Please find comfort in knowing that Skippy is now at Rainbows Bridge and making lots of friends. Saying goodbye is never easy. I also lost my precious cat Spooky July 30th 2001 after 16 wonderful years with her. I am sure that Skippy and Spooky have become good friends. Hello Skippy! Wow...I'm shocked at all the people that loved you! I know that you are having a good time at Rainbow Bridge and feeling the warmth from the ones that loved you. I already told Muffy, but I need you to show my Mia the way too. She is so missed and I have a very hard time without her. This is my second night without sleep and today I told my little boys the truth about exactly how Mia made it to rainbow bridge. I know it sounds silly, but sometimes I wish I could at least visit you all there. I miss her so...please let her know.

Cindy, I met you only today in the pet loss chat, but it was such a comfort to know I wasn't alone...You have made a beautiful residency for Skippy-- he sounds like he was a truly wonderful fur baby...Reading your words, especially the part of missing Skippy's "putt putt" against your heart, and his soft body to comfort you-- this made me cry...There is no void for this terrible, lonely feeling. I just wanted to say both you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers, along with Skippy. Hello Skippy. I know you are a wonderful and beautiful furbaby in heaven. I can tell from reading your Mommy's words that she misses you so. I know and understand the sadness she is feeling so if you could visit her to let her know you are fine that would make her feel alot better. Cindy, try and take comfort in knowing that you gave Skippy a long life filled with love and happiness and that he now watches over you as you did for him for all those years. My deepest sympathies to you and your family on your loss. I do know what it is like to lose a loved one, whether Human or one of our special, furry babies. Having lost quite a few of my own and doing dog rescue, it is never easy. From my house of 8 furr babies, to yours, we wish you the best. If you ever need to write please do so. I will be there for you. They never leave us, we just don't see them any more. Their spirit lives on.

Skippy - What a sweetheart you must have been. Your family really loves you and you have left them fond memories in their hearts. Let your family know that you are safe, happy, healthy and will have many friends. Let Cindy and Chris know that you have met up with Tiggy and that God has appointed the both of you to be their guardian, protectors to watch over them until they are called to the Bridge to join you one day.
