Hi Smokey, I've visited you once before. I know you were there to greet Roxie. I never knew about St. Roch but I'm a big one for St. Francis and at the Franciscan Friary I go to there is a Fr. Roch. I hope you are having fun with my Finnbar. Give him a kiss for me.

Erik/Heidi..Smokey is a beautiful,big boy.It is never easy to lose a furry young or old and I have lost both.For whatever reason it always seems like we lose them too soon while they leave their forever pawprints within us.Smokey is now happy,healthy and playing with Oreo,Ralph and Eva while waiting for us to join them on the Bridge. I am so sorry to hear about your loss of Smokey. Please find comfort in knowing that Smokey is now at Rainbows Bridge and making lots of friends. Saying goodbye is never easy. I also lost my precious cat Spooky July 30th 2001 after 16 wonderful years with her. I am sure that Smokey and Spooky have become good friends. Just recently on January 11, 2013, I lost my faithful friend Hannah who was a beautiful blue tick hound dog. Spooky never met Hannah but I am sure Spooky greeted Hannah at the bridge. Erik and Heidi, so sorry for your loss. Saying goodbye is never easy....those little furry companions definitely steal our hearts and souls. They are so precious and are truly one of God's greatest gifts. Take comfort in that their love for us goes on as our love for them does for eternity. King Solomon wrote in Ecclesiastes: "To everything there is a season and a time to every purpose under heaven…a time to weep and a time to laugh; a time to mourn and a time to dance…" The Zohar, the classic work of Kabbalah, describes the inner psyche of man as "crying being on one side of the heart and laughing on the other side of the heart." Yet, there is an even deeper understanding, we will learn to be joyous and broken hearted at the same time. Our fur babies where so beautiful and a gift of true joy & love, how can we not be happy when we reflect on their memory and begin to celebrate their life. I'm sorry about Smokey.What a great big handsome cat. It's awful when they go. Where Smokey is now there is no pain, no chemo..He's even more perfect than he was in his prime. You'll see him again.
