Stary stary night, when no hope was left in sight, your lil' paws held tight, we knew of pupp's plight.
NO longer in pain, no more struggle in vein, no orders to your brain, Star's time came.
STAR, you've gone so far, we know that's the only way you can watch over.
I'LL never forget how sick she was as a pup in that kennel & how proud I was to free her & let her run wild.
HOW appropro you died memorial day weekend, a symbol of freedom. The day I bought you I used my own charge card, had returned to work to earn the money, and this pedigree spaniel was worth every penny.
STAR could not eat so I cooked rice & chopmeat, spoon fed her, she grew strong
STAR loved to go out, eat people food, wait for Christmas cookies & belong.
STAR would bark at strangers & protected me & the kids from danger.
SHE danced like one of girls & if a guy wasn't good, she'd bark to tell.
THE movie "Something about Mary" was written about her & me & in heaven she's Puppy Leading Lady. GOODBYE STAR.
