My deepest sympathies to you on your loss. I do know what it is like to lose a loved one, whether Human or one of our special, furry babies. Having lost quite a few of my own and doing dog rescue, it is never easy. From my house of 6 furr babies, to yours, we wish you the best. If you ever need to write please do so. I will be there for you. They never leave us, we just don't see them any more. Their spirit lives on.

I know how you feel, our little girl Heidi was supposed to be my wife's dog. But I was the only one who could pick her up and hold her or take her to the park. Her passing in march still seems like yesterday. My condolences for your loss of your best friend and beloved family member, they are in your heart for ever. God Bless jim and Ginny

Tom..Stubby loved you because even at such young age he knew it was you who took care of him. Don't ever blame yourself because there are some things that are not in your control. But no matter what or for whatever reason they are always taken from us too soon leaving their forever pawprints within us. Be sure to know Stubby is happy, heralthy and playing with Oreo,Ralph,Eva and friends while waiting for us to join them at the Bridge. I can send you my babies sites if you wish to visit..take care..

Tom, so sorry for your loss. Saying goodbye is never easy.....those little furry companions definitely steal our hearts and souls. They are so precious and are truly one of God's greatest gifts. Take comfort in that their love for us goes on as our love for them does for eternity. I am sure that the memories of this precious member will be with you always. We also lost our adorable little pug, Nikki Mae, who was the light of our lives for more than 14 wonderful years. We are sure that handsome Stubby and Nikki Mae have become good friends and are now having so much fun playing and running again. Please visit our Nikki Mae at: http://RainbowsBridge.com/residents/NIKKI115/Resident.htm

"A Dog's Plea" ...from the first lines Treat me kindly my beloved friend for no heart is more grateful for your kindness than the loving heart of me... from the last paragraph... And my friend when I am, old and no longer enjoy good health, Please see that my trusting life is taken gently. I shall leave this earth knowing with the last breath I draw that my fate was always safest in your hands--my BELOVED friend! Working with seniors I face this alot and the heartaches never gets easier, but if they could speak I know deep within my heart this is what each of these beautiful souls would look at us and say in those last moments of their earthly lives... It is the last act of the most unconditional and unselfish love we can give to those who have given so much to us...peace and rest from their pain. Again prayers of healing and comfort..

Tom, First let me say how very sorry I am for your loss, your Stubby is a beautiful boy. Did I mention, that I work in rescue and I HATE Pet Stores too, nothing more than a glorified puppy mill location, HOWEVER, that said what a blessing that you were able to meet your Stubby and what a life it sounds as though you had with your boy. Your pet communicator was right they never want us to blame ourselves when it is time for them to leave us for heaven, but as humans our minds tend to go there. May you know that your Stubby is now watching over you from heaven, hoping that one day your heart can heal enough to show another in need, the love and kindness that Stubby has left inside your heart. I have signed your guestbook again, after this message with a simple part of a saying that I have from a needle point that someone gave to me years ago, it is called "A Dog's Plea", I hope it will help you in your healing. ........

Stubby - You have been so loyal and so faithful! Send the family some signs, kisses from the Rainbow to let them know that you are safe, happy, healthy and will have many friends. Let Tom know that God has appointed you to be his guardian, protector until he is called to the Bridge to join you one day. I will tell my Brande to find you and play with you. To Tom - I send my heartfelt sympathy to you over the loss of Stubby. I too lost my soulmate not long ago, see Brande at http://rainbowsbridge.com/residents/BRAND167/Resident.htm - We know that God has promised we will be with our babies again one day. I leave this quote with you, "heaven is the only place where all the dogs and cats you have ever loved will come running to meet you." Author Unknown

Hello Tom, I am so sorry for the lost of your beautiful Stubby. King Solomon wrote in Ecclesiastes: "To everything there is a season and a time to every purpose under heaven…a time to weep and a time to laugh; a time to mourn and a time to dance…" The Zohar, the classic work of Kabbalah, describes the inner psyche of man as "crying being on one side of the heart and laughing on the other side of the heart." Yet, there is an even deeper understanding, we will learn to be joyous and broken hearted at the same time. Our fur babies where so beautiful and a gift of true joy & love, how can we not be happy when we reflect on there memory and begin to celebrate there life. Please take comfort in knowing that one day we will be together again with our beautiful companions; I lost my Zander in July 2008 & have attached his link if you care to visit. With Love & Sympathy Diane. http://rainbowsbridge.com/residents/ZANDE003/Resident.htm

Tom, he's so very beautiful and what a wonderful blessing that he came into your life and brought such love and companionship for the years he was with you. I know the sorrow of losing a precious little soulmate to illness but we must always know that our babies have gone to a happy place where they are young and well again. Sweet Stubby now plays like a puppy in heaven's most beautiful meadow. Stubby was there to welcome my two kitties, Inky and Bubba Lou, to the rainbow meadow and I am sure they have become the best of friends. Our babies know that they will be reunited with their earthly parents someday. When we get to the rainbow bridge and they come running to greet us, we will be with them forever more. Until then, may precious memories bring healing and may God bless you with comfort and peace. I understand and care. Jane

My Sidney entered Rainbows Bridge on 10-29-11, I know Stubby was there to welcome Sidney to her new place. I have asked them to send a rainbow from heaven above. It is a upside down smile. When you miss Stubby the most, look at your heart, his love and paw print are there.

Stubby, you are so handsome! Please go to the Bridge and send your precious love down the Rainbow straight into the heart of your dad who misses you so much, and he will send his love right back to you on angels' wings. Tom, your world has lost a very special furperson, family member and friend, and heaven has welcomed home a very special soul. Stubby is now your very own angel, watching over and for you, just as Katy and BG are watching over us, until you meet again and cross the Bridge together. May his sweet love continually hug your heart until then. Blessings and peace, Clare and Martha....Please visit our Katy at http://www.rainbowsbridge.com/residents/KATY004/resident.HTM

Hello, handsome Stubby. We're sorry we've not visited sooner but we didn't know about you. Our Pressy is the little old gray lady kitty who plays in golden sunbeams and chases bright rainbows and colorful meadow butterflies with you. Pressy asked her family to visit doggie playmate Stubby. She said she gives you special kitty love headbumps and taught you to send love signs on the wind so Dad feels your loving presence with him and your special kisses when gentle breezes blow. Pressy said you send many love signs to tell Dad you're in Paradise meadow watching over him waiting until he comes for you one day to cross the Rainbow Bridge to be together forever. Play happy meadow games with other furangels in beautiful Paradise but stop often to smile at Dad so he feels the warmth of your love surround him and knows you miss him too and are with him. Soar among clouds now on silvery angel wings to watch over Dad always, beloved Stubby. Pressy's Grandpa
