I had a dream about you right before your birthday. You were happy, playing with other dogs and cats. I miss you, but with that dream I know you were trying to ease my pain at losing you. You are still in my thoughts and I love you.

Ms Elizabeth we just found about the passing of our beloved Tiki.... no words can explain how sad we all at A Country Cat House feel. We know how wonderful and special he was and the amazing care you gave him. How can we forget the syringes, medications, puppy pads and extra luggage every time he visited us. He always requested the same accommodations, the garden view in the middle so he can watch everything and everyone. We are so grateful that you trusted him to our care and despite his "cattitude" he loved to visit us and we love him too. He is at kitty heaven and he lives forever. Tonight when you look up at the sky, just remember that Tiki is the brightest star hoping to make your burden light. A faint meow you will hear, his whisper of love is always near... Elizabeth..Tiki is a beautiful boy...a beautiful tribute for a great friend.It is never easy to lose a furry young or old and I have lost both.For whatever reason they are always taken from us too soon while leaving their forever pawprints within us. Elizabeth, I feel for you at the passing of your beloved Tiki - with you for 15 years. During that time you saw each other through many life changes and Tiki was always there for you - your friend and comforter - loving you with unconditional love when others failed you. In spite of illness Tiki fought to stay by your side until it was clear the fight for life was no more an option. So you bravely took the hardest decision all pet parents must be prepared to make. I know from my own experience how difficult this is and we suffer before: and later wondering if we could have done things differently. Now Tiki is released from pain and suffering - running around in the green fields of Heaven where one day you will meet again - never to part any more. This life is short compared with the vastness of Eternity and the time spent apart from each other will seem like a dream. Tiki and you are God`s gift to each other and your loving God is taking care of Tiki who is yours for all Eternity.

I am so sorry to hear about your loss of Tiki. Please find comfort in knowing that Tiki is now at Rainbows Bridge and making lots of friends. Saying goodbye is never easy. I also lost my precious cat Spooky July 30th 2001 after 16 wonderful years with her. On January 11, 2013, I lost my faithful friend Hannah who was a beautiful blue tick hound dog. On August 2, 2013 another one of my beautiful cats, Sammi, a black and white tabby, went to Rainbows Bridge. April 9, 2014, Maci, my English Bulldog passed over to Rainbows Bridge. Maci and Hannah were best friends. I am sure that Tiki and my babies have all become good friends.
