I am so sorry to hear about your loss of Violette. Please find comfort in knowing that Violette is now at Rainbows Bridge and making lots of friends. Saying goodbye is never easy. I also lost my precious cat Spooky July 30th 2001 after 16 wonderful years with her. I have lost several babies since Spooky's passing. Hannah 1/11/13, Sammi 8/2/13,Maci 4/9/14, Gabbi 3/20/17, Zoe 1/3/18, Willow 6/4/18, and Shelby 6/12/18. I am sure that Violette and my babies have all become good friends. What a beautiful, sweet, memory of your dearest little Violette, i have heard it said so many times, that the beautiful memories of our sweet little furbabies stay in our heart forever, I lost my Dear Tiny, three years ago, it seems like yesterday. a day does not pass that i do not think of him. yes, his beautiful memory will always be with me, as violette will always be with you. the mutual love we share with them is for eternity. tiny has never left me, and he never shall. I am so very sure that if sweet violette could send one message to you Karen, it would be " thankyou, so very much, for the wonderful life you gave me, i did not think i would ever find the beautiful love you gave me, and we shared. that love will always be, Mama, and i shall forever be with you". We will see them again, Karen, God does not give such beautiful love, only for it to be taken away. it will always be with you.
