Widget, I am so sad without you now. I will never stop thinking of you, loving you, missing you. We had so many good times together and I was so lucky to get to be your mama. Thank you always, for your love and patience.

To my furry friend whom I love so much, a lifetime with you is never enough. You’ve always been my best friend, and even though you’re gone that never will end. You were always there right by my side, for whatever I did and whatever I tried. There could never be another quite like you, I knew you were for me when I first saw you. I know you’ll look down and watch over me, and when my times comes I’ll make sure you’re the first I’ll see. I can never forget you whatever I do, this is because I will always love you.

Oh Widget is so adorable. I am so so sorry for your loss of her. She looks full of personality and big loving eyes. So special. Let your memories keep you happy. I too just lost a furbaby and I talk to him every day so we feel connected. It helps me and I want in my heart for him to know how much I love him no matter what or where he is and how terribly much I miss him. Try it.. it really does help. Time heals us but we keep the memories alive in our hearts. Gods greatest gift to us of these furry angels and their unconditional love and loyalty is never to be replaced by anything else. It is to be mourned when we have to let them go but only because they deserve to happy and healthy again. Their suffering ends and ours begins. Be well and let all that love keep you talking to Widget.

Jan I love the pics you posted of Widget. His personality is so evident in them. He definitely sounds like the best boy ever. I use to tell my sweet girl she was the "best girl ever" on a daily basis. She tried so hard through her own medical struggles. Our fur babies give us so much in the way of love, joy, acceptance, comfort. They are the best teachers. We are able despite grief, to find comfort in recalling the memories we created with them.

I am so sorry to hear about your loss of Widget. Please find comfort in knowing that Widget is now at Rainbows Bridge and making lots of friends. Saying goodbye is never easy. I also lost my precious cat Spooky July 30th 2001 after 16 wonderful years with her. I have lost several babies since Spooky's passing. Hannah 1/11/13, Sammi 8/2/13,Maci 4/9/14, Gabbi 3/20/17, Zoe 1/3/18, Willow 6/4/18, Shelby 6/12/18, Bear 11/17/19 and Bella and Murphy who were both tragically poisoned on 06/18/20. Dear Jan, Thank you for sharing some memories of Widget on his memorial page. It made me feel like we had met. I know I would have loved him because I've been a dog owner/lover all my life. Because of that, I know the deep heartache we feel when we lose one so precious to us. I do hope, with time, your sadness will ease and in its place will be some joyful memories of Widget that will make you smile or laugh again when you think of him. Blessings, Dianna

I am very sorry for your loss of sweet Widget. I love the pictures, especially him riding in the car. He is very fortunate to have someone who loves him so much, and I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers as you adjust to new routines without your precious pup. I hope the joyful memories will bring some comfort during this difficult time. Widget, look for Buddy (our Yorkie) at the Bridge because he loves to play and can introduce you to new friends. I have gifted a new bandana because I can tell you are a snappy dresser.
