Dear Rose, and all of Yogi's family,
I am so terribly sorry for the passing of Yogi. What a wonderful life she had with you. (I think my dog is secretly annoyed with me whenever we pass a camper or a pick-up truck...)
There is no greater breed than a pure mutt! And what a beautiful big girl she was! I feel as though I knew her, just by reading your touching tribute. It is obvious that she wanted to stay with you, and it appears as though she had a couple of paws in the meadow by Rainbow Bridge, and a couple here on earth; but her job here was done. I always think about the story of the little boy who was wondering why dogs don't live as long as we do, and he observed that the reason we are here is to learn lessons to be loving and kind. Dogs, he said, already knew how, and so they don't have to stay that long. I know he is right. You and Yogi are in my prayers. Good Girl, Yogi...
