Thank you for sharing your beautiful post of your dear beloved babies, reading them help me with my grief today, as I am overwhelmed with a broken heart at the loss of my special old man Skillet, we rescured him 14 years ago and just over 3 years ago he developed DM. Degenerative malopathy he lost his mobility a year ago, my son and I cared for him 24 hrs. a day, we lost him last Monday and I just dont know what to do with myself, I just feel empty and lost without him, he gave so much to our lives I cant even begin to say what is in my heart, I felt reading your post it was I speaking the same words to my old man Skillet, I will never forget that day sitting and holding him as he slipped away, he will always be with me in thought and in my heart, I am so thankful for stumbling across your post it made me feel so much better to know that others share this deep love as well, Peace and comfort be with you always, Thank you, Sherry
