Nancy, I’m so sorry for the loss of your precious Zz. I lost my beloved Greenly the day after Christmas and the pain I still feel is unbearable. Parakeets are so small but leave such a huge emptiness when they pass. You are lucky to have had her so long. My Greenly had a tumor and was taken way too soon. Zz looks like him. I’m sure they are playing together at the bridge, happy and healthy. Take care. Brenda

Nancy..a beautiful tribute to a great friend. ZZ is a beautiful bird. It is always hard to lose a feathered friend young or old and I have lost both (but four legged and with fur). But no matter what or for whatever reason they are always taken from us too soon leaving their forever pawprints within us. Be sure to know ZZ is happy, healthy and playing with Oreo, Ralph and Eva while waiting for us to join them at the Bridge. I can send you my babies sites if you wish to visit..take care.. Kathy 🐶 😼🌈

I am so sorry to hear about your loss of ZZ. Please find comfort in knowing that ZZ is now at Rainbows Bridge and making lots of friends. Saying goodbye is never easy. I also lost my precious cat Spooky July 30th 2001 after 16 wonderful years with her. I have lost several babies since Spooky's passing. Hannah 1/11/13, Sammi 8/2/13,Maci 4/9/14, Gabbi 3/20/17, Zoe 1/3/18, Willow 6/4/18, Shelby 6/12/18, Bear 11/17/19 and Bella and Murphy who were both tragically poisoned on 06/18/20. Nancy I truly enjoyed the post and the music in memory of the life of ZZ. I have had many parakeets. I have two and a parolet now. Like you I enjoy the chirping and their playfullness. You must have taken very good care of ZZ because the life span for parakeets is five to eight years.I know you miss her and in time the pain of the loss will subside. Rich B.
