Abby was a rescue we found at Mississippi Animal Rescue League (MARL) in September, 2010. My wife saw her the first time and immediately fell in love with her. She was a fantastic addition to our family. She was found as a stray and taken to MARL without any idea how long she had been on her own. She was obviously traumatized by larger dogs because she couldn't eat around other animals. She would try to hide her food until there was no one else around. With love and patience, she ultimately became a member of our family and finally became the beautiful little girl we knew she could be. In 2018 I lost my wife and had to depend on my "kids" to help me get through that tough time. Abby was a large part of that help. My heart always went out to her and I always felt her vulnerability. She will always be loved, and always missed! |
