You're not meant to have favourites but you were definitely my favourite out of all of our guinea pigs and I've been dreading this moment. I'm sure you're reunited with Simon and Theodore now too. You became poorly the other day and you passed away at the vets yesterday, wish we could've been there with you in your last moments but you were in the best place to have a fighting chance. But I have lots of very fond memories of you, taking you on holidays, and all the cuddles on our laps with you, you used to love to climb inside our dressing gowns and curl up and fall asleep. Chase and Marshal Your 2 new friends we got to keep you company are missing you too, and you definitely created a bromance with Marshal. I even dreamt about you last night, I was by your cage and you ran out of the hutch and up towards me as if to say you're ok. But looking looking in the cage this morning and knowing your not in there is what's upset me the most. RIP Alvin, love you xxx 18th March 2020, yesterday we buried you in the garden, near to Simon and Theodore. We had a last look at you in your box and softly stroked your back before closing the box again. The weather was quite nice and a rainbow appeared as you were being buried. Both me and my wife are missing you very much but you are now reunited with your brothers now, so have lots of fun chasing each other round. Although you normally kept out of it when the other two were having a bit of argie bargie! 13 March 2023, dear Alvin, missing you very much, just over 3 years since you left us, I'm sorry we wasn't there in your final moments at the vets, we hope you can forgive us, love you xxx |
