We are so thankful you came to our house that late September morning in 2003. We called you our little blessing and you blessed our lives for 18 years. You were a part of everything we have done in this life, every move we've made, both of Daddy's bouts with cancer, Mommy's 3 surgeries, the death of Daddy's parents and Mommy's mom. I love how you loved your special song, the Anabelle Cat song. I sang it to you every night before bed. I love how you would nip and lick the end of my nose when I asked you for a hug and a kiss! I love how you slept by my pillow at night. I love how excited you'd get over your Salmon Temptations. I love your sweet, sweet gentle spirit, loving nature and how talkative you were. You were our dream lap kitty, always looking for a lap to sleep on. I love how you loved to play. You overcame stage 3 kidney disease and we were blessed with you for almost 3 more years. You were precious this past Christmas. You've always loved Christmas. Remember when you used to try to eat the fiber optics on the tree? Remember how you loved to smell flowers? I remember I kept finding toothpicks scattered around and discovered you were taking them out of the holder one by one. You were the greatest blessing in our life and we simply adored you and always will. Precious baby, your suffering is over and you've been made whole. We can't wait to see you again in Heaven. Here's your song sweet babee. Anabelle, Anabelle, Anabelle Cat, Anabelle, Anabelle, Anabelle Cat cat cat cat cat, sung to the tune of Jingle Bell Rock. At Christmas you'd always listen if you heard "your" song on TV. All our love forever and ever, Mommy and Daddy. You will always be alive in our hearts. We love you forever Anabelle Cat |
