Memories of Artie
Artie was the most special and funny and weird little buddy. He made everyone smile with his tongue hanging out his mouth! He always knew when to bark at you so that he could get your attention and get some ear scratches. He loved being held and snuggled up real good. He hated butt scratches but I couldn't resist and after a few barks he would let me continue.

The joy that this little guy brought to my life and so many others will never be forgotten. He had the ability to turn a non dog lover into a dog lover real quick!

Artie loved to explore and walk around the city and countryside. He loved to meet other dogs and although he didn't play much with them he loved to be in the mix.

Artie loved cheerios, and french fries the most. His little growl that he would do when a french fry got stuck under his bed or he couldn't reach was truly adorable and I'd get up and go get it out for him. He knew to never bother me for food, but his uncles??? Oh man Uncle Billy and Uncle Wim would get the Artie puppy eyes until they shared with him whatever they were eating, usually happened to be chicken wings!

Artie got to travel and see different parts of the world. I think his two favorite places were the beach and the lake. I would hold him with me when I went into the lake and he would just lay in my arms and feel the water on him and I'd tell him how handsome and what a good boy he was. Naturally he would shake the water off and then fall over onto the sand and I'd have to wash him off again, but it was worth it!

I'm going to forever miss my best buddy and I know that he will always be remembered by everyone in his life for being such a special and sweet little boy.

You were always by my side little boy and I will love you forever and I'm going to miss holding you in my arms and feeding you cheerios.

I will always love you and know that you made my life so much better.

Goodnight my sweet handsome boy, papa loves you!

Thank you to everyone who leaves a message for Artie, it is greatly appreciated and while I may not respond to all, please know that I do read the messages and thank you for your kind words about my sweet boy.
