He was always so sweet & gentle ... unless he saw another dog! Then he would fiercely protect his keep.

He attacked a pit bull that ran away from him, made a Doberman go submissive in Pet Smart and he even attacked a huge golden doodle In front of our house.

He had a way of getting his way too. When it was time to go in, or if we saw him wandering to the gate we knew he would try to make a run for it, so we would call him and he would just put his head down & pretend he was sniffing the grass or flowers. The minute our heads turned he would make his escape at top speed! He was quite the character.

He only had one love in his life, and that was Dolly, the white toy poodle 2 houses away from us on Staples Street. Ash was about 4 or 5 when his romance began. Sadly, Dolly moved away & we later found out she passed away. He never bonded with another female again.

Ash was everyone's dog! He had a special relationship with all our friends. He will forever be missed & loved.
