I met BaaBaa at my sisters home in 2008. She was so sweet and beautiful! My niece gave her the name BaaBaa because as a kitten, her hair was very curly. She walked up to me and looked up at me with those huge blue eyes and meowed. I decided to take her with me as I couldn't see just letting her stay out with the rest of the feral cats there. I took her home and brought her in the house. I already had a feral cat which I had tamed. BaaBaa went straight to the food and water bowls then off to the litter box. I sat in a recliner and instead of exploring the rest of the house, she jumped on my lap and started purring. A few months later, I took her to the vet and had her spayed and shots given. Everyone who ever came in contact with her just loved her personality and beauty. If a person was visiting, she was going to win them over and end up in their lap. I had many cats over the years but BaaBaa was so different. She seemed to sympathize and tried to comfort when anything happened in our family. In 2020, my husband of over 30 years passed away suddenly. BaaBaa was the only angel who could comfort me. I really didn't have family close so she was all I had and she never left me alone. If it hadn't been for her, I probably wouldn't be here. Now that she's gone, I can't stop crying..I miss her so much!!! 😢 |
