He loved to roll in the grass and hit everything nose first
He loved to see Ms. Wendy and her boys
He loved lizards so he loved the neighbors porch 'because' he really loved how lizards gathered there
He loved to go to Mr. Mike's, for all treats he shared and love he gave
He loved to chase the ducks back to the lake where they belong
He loved to check the perimeter of our home, my sweet little soldier boy
He loved to hide his bones in the most obvious of places
He loved bedtime and morning cuddles
He loved his brother and always wanted to be near him - Roddy
He loved his dad
He loved me
He loved his life

He made me laugh everyday
He made me feel loved always
He made me crazy most of the time
He made me be a mom (because he was only 99% perfect)
He made our lives fuller

It's been a year and when I think about you my heart still hurts so much! I miss you everyday little man!! I wish I could think of you and smile but, I still can't do that. I know someday I will but this has been harder than I ever thought possible.

We adopted Penny in January and she has brought so much love and if I didn't know better I would say you have shown her all your favorite spots to find lizards and where you loved to lay and cool off, she lays in all your spots and loves to cuddle. She has helped me heal in a lot of ways but, I still miss you SO MUCH!
