There are so many memories of you that it's hard to pick just one or two. There was the funny way you barked when you wanted a snack. You always offered your paw to people to shake and you loved children. You were huge but gentle. You were my protector and my friend. Always ready to go for a walk or a ride in the car.

When people would comment on how beautiful you were, you acted like it was the most natural thing in the world. You were always at your best behavior when you were out 'in the world'. You hated the heat and loved the air conditioning.

Max (our second Airedale) just had his 9th birthday on May 25th. He is like you in some ways, but he can never take your place. You were and always will be special. We still miss you very much.
