Memories of Bebe
Our beautiful girl, Bebe, was truly the light of our lives. She first came to us in April of 2001 when she suddenly appeared at the place where I was then employed. What a sweet and energetic girl she was! From that first moment that she followed us home, we fell completely in love with her. Our boys, Fred and Sam, loved her so dearly too! She was always such a little mother and loved playing "puppies" with our boy, Sam.

Bebe enjoyed such good health for her first five years, but then was stricken with cancer. She underwent many rounds of chemotherapy...and always with such grace, courage and determination!! In spite of the doctor's grim prognosis, Bebe was later determined to be cancer-free!! What a wonderful day that was for us all!! We were so thankful to God for the precious gift that had been given us.

Bebe was always the great protector of our family. She would never hurt a living soul yet she was completely dedicated to the safety of our home and family. With her beautiful golden eyes and shiny black coat she often gave the appearance of a fierce protector..and she was!!...yet she was also the most gentle of souls. She loved playing with small children and would play tug a war with our little grandson...tenderly applying just enough pressure against the rope to make it fun for Cody but never, ever too much. I can still see Cody laughing and the two of them having so much fun together!

Bebe loved going everywhere with us and traveling in the car. She was such a wonderful traveler and a joy to have on all our trips!!

In the last year of her life, our beautiful girl developed congestive heart failure and we lost her to this world on November 16, 2015.

But in our hearts, we still feel your presence here with us, Mama Cita. We know your spirit will always be with us and that one day we will be together again!!

Run free with Fred, Sam, Teddy and Barney, precious girl...We know how much you always loved one another. One day, Jesus will bring us all back together and we will never again be parted!!

We love you always and forever, Mama Cita. We thank God above each and every day for blessing our lives with such a beautiful angel as you.
