It's been about a year since I've last seen you. Even with the two new kittens we got a month after your departure, the house will always feel empty.

I don't know whether to feel guilty or cut myself slack for not writing to you or about you sooner, but I feel like some things might be a bit too personal when it comes to me. But just so you know, that you have always been my rock growing up throughout the second half of my childhood. And I know your presense is still with me due to signs I have been getting ever since your last day. I know for certain you'd prefer me not to mention them, because it is something special between you and me, and I will always respect that because I love you with all my heart.
